Screen Media can take you from start to finish including site surveys, pre-configuration of equipment, then installation on site, with follow up and on-going reporting.


Site Surveys: 
Site surveys carried out in advance are critical in order to minimise disruption to retailers on site, and to maximise efficiency at time of installation. Screen Media surveyors will carry out a pre-appointed visit to make detailed assessment of requirements prior to installation, to cover:

  • Positioning of screens, PC Players and speakers / audio equipment
  • Fixing types and locations, size of poles / brackets
  • Power requirements
  • Head end equipment location
  • Data cable Layout and runs
  • Communications infrastructure with Wireless Testing etc

A comprehensive report with photography is produced in each case for both client and retailer approval.


System Configuration: 
Screen Media’s engineering resource provides this vital service to bring together all system components in advance of the physical installation.
On receipt of equipment at our facilities, we carry out configuration work and SOAK testing on core system components such as playout hardware and software, routers etc. By carrying out these tasks prior to installation, the risk of failed equipment is minimised and complex on-site configuration is eliminated


Installation: 
Our experienced field service engineers install all types of screens, audio systems, projection equipment and other digital displays with related software systems, on a daily basis across the UK, Europe, and around the globe.

Work is carried out to suit the individual client and location. We take responsibility for all of the technical requirements such as data cabling and communications, configuration and testing as required.

Work can be carried out at hours to suit, often overnight, outside of normal business hours and is subject to an agreed Service Level Agreement.


Reporting: 
Screen Media Project Management teams take responsibility for co-ordination of all the above services and can provide a variety of standard or customised reports according to client and project specific requirements.

Our NetHelpDesk reporting software can provide information on Inventory, Stock, equipment for repair or dispatch for manufacturer processing under RMA procedures as well as detailed fault diagnosis procedures.
